People of God we think nothing of going to medical school, law school, or even vocational school to learn our trade, but seldom, if we are called to ministry, or even when we are first saved, do we think of learning to pray. We absolutely do not consider a school of prayer. We assume that we will be taught everything we need to know, either in our local church or by the Holy Spirit. Traditionally, the local church is designed for the care and nurturing of the sheep, and not for teaching ministers or prayer warriors. While the Holy Spirit is our teacher and our guide we are yet told to “study to show ourselves approved …….” (2Timothy 2:15)  

Consuming Fire School of Prayer isn't for everyone, but I offer it for those who want more—more structured teaching, more in-depth resources, more accountability to learn and grow.

If we are honest, we will sometimes come out of our comfort zones of Sunday/Wednesday services for a little refreshing at a conference or a revival, but we are reluctant to commit to consistent teaching. Our traditions hinder us sometimes from seeking to be trained as prayer warriors. 

 

 

When I ask the question, "How's your prayer life?" I get answers such as: 

Probably not as good as it should be. 

I struggle to pray consistently. 

I’m not sure if I am praying the right way. 

I don’t feel that my prayer life is deep enough. 

I’m discouraged because I don’t feel that God hears me. 

I would like to learn but I need help. 

I used to pray consistently, but my prayer life needs renewal. 

The Consuming Fire School of Prayer addresses these issues by establishing a prayer community that teaches, trains, and empowers the people of God to live in an atmosphere of prayer.
